The best way to approach this fight is to only play 1 follower per turn, then discard the highest cost card in your hand with the Spider's Dirge spell. Then you can wipe Taketsumi's board with your one follower that now has Rush/Bane/Drain, boosted defense and 4 attacks per turn (keep in mind they lose all other effects they might've had tho). You may not need to do this every turn, especially early on, you want to wait for him to have a board you can clear.
Be careful about what order you attack things in; anything that would take out your own follower, like the big 11/11 Archdemon or anything with Bane, you want to attack last. You can win the fight without ever attacking Taketsumi's face and instead just taking out his followers with your follower that has the Spider's Dirge effect, since every time it destroys one of Taketsumi's followers and isn't destroyed itself, his max HP goes down by 3 (you will win when it hits 0).
