IMPORTANT: Guidelines have been updated!

Hello everyone! I've just updated the Shadowverse Wiki Guidelines, which can be found to the left side of this forum page. Not much has changed in regards to forum guidelines, but I've also added Wiki Editing Guidelines so that there are clear rules that everyone understands when contributing. Here they are so please make note of them! Thank you!

WIKI EDITING GUIDELINES:

-References and citations are encouraged but not required, as much information related to Shadowverse is not well archived and difficult to source, especially in English. If English sources do not exist then Japanese references/citations are permitted.

-This is an English wiki, so please adhere to OFFICIAL CYGAMES ENGLISH LOCALIZATION whenever possible. Use the following priority when it comes to English names and terms:

Official Cygames localization (i.e. Shadowverse CCG, Shadowverse: Evolve English Edition, etc) > Crunchyroll subtitles > Unofficial or fan translation.

Please make note of unofficial translations where possible. If the unofficial translation is for something that will eventually have a proper English localization, noting that it's subject to change with the official localization is encouraged but not required. CR translations and/or unofficial translations are to be replaced with official localization once it's been announced or released by Cygames.

-Please use the correct type of infobox for card pages so card databases aren't mixed up. Original CCG cards use "Infobox card", anime exclusive cards or ANIME VERSIONS of cards use "Infobox anime card" and Shadowverse: Evolve cards use "Infobox SVE card." Beginning spring 2025, Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond cards will use "Infobox WB card."

-When adding anime screenshots to a card or character page, please specify the anime season, opening/ending sequence, etc the screenshot originates from. For example, if you're adding a screenshot of Dragon Warrior from an episode of the Shadowverse Flame anime to its page, the accompanying text should say "Dragon Warrior in Shadowverse Flame."

-When making significant changes to a page that someone else has already filled out with information, please give a detailed reason(s) as to why the changes were made.

-Please do not get into edit wars or contest notes, rulings or guidelines made by the administrator.

The game has not "reached its end." It's not over or shutting down. The service will continue, there will just be no new cards/expansions released after the additional cards for Heroes of Shadowverse (the 32nd and final set). The original Shadowverse will continue to be playable and even continue releasing Battle Passes with new leaders after July, alongside its sequel, Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond.

Please do not make posts like this that fearmonger or spread misinformation. Consider this a warning and there will be consequences if you do this again. Thanks.

Right now the best place to find card full arts are on SVGDB.me

While it's possible to extract the full card art from the game files themselves, doing so is rather difficult and tedious, so as much as I don't like just yanking things from another database it's currently in the best interest of everyone's time just to get them from this site instead.

IMPORTANT FOR CONTRIBUTORS: Anime Card Infobox Added

Attention wiki contributors (who aren't on the Discord server!): In order to keep cards from being incorrectly categorized, I've made a separate card info box for anime cards, which should be used for (the anime versions of) all cards that appear in the anime from now on. It can be found here:

The reason for this is some cards have different types or rarities between their anime and game incarnations. For instance, Magical Bishop, which was recently released in the game a Gold rarity card, is a Silver rarity card in the anime. We only want Magical Bishop categorized as a Gold for the purposes of card lookup, as this wiki prioritizes the main game while other media such as Champion's Battle or the the anime is "extra" if that makes sense. (The exception being Shadowverse: Evolve, which has its own categories.) Especially since as we've seen, cards are very likely to change from their anime incarnations once they're added to the game.

From now on, please use the regular "Infobox card" for main CCG cards ONLY, while using "Infobox anime card" for anime exclusive cards and anime incarnations of game cards.

I'll be working to transitioning the infoboxes on existing pages but help would be appreciated! Thank you!!

You mean Shadowcraft. The Seven Shadows already have a Haven member, Kaguya.

And it's Andrea, lol. She even does the "Xth Angel Descends Upon Us" thing when she plays her legendaries that the other Seven Shadows members do. She's 100% without a doubt their Shadow member, I guess gone undercover as a schoolteacher for some reason.

The best way to approach this fight is to only play 1 follower per turn, then discard the highest cost card in your hand with the Spider's Dirge spell. Then you can wipe Taketsumi's board with your one follower that now has Rush/Bane/Drain, boosted defense and 4 attacks per turn (keep in mind they lose all other effects they might've had tho). You may not need to do this every turn, especially early on, you want to wait for him to have a board you can clear.

Be careful about what order you attack things in; anything that would take out your own follower, like the big 11/11 Archdemon or anything with Bane, you want to attack last. You can win the fight without ever attacking Taketsumi's face and instead just taking out his followers with your follower that has the Spider's Dirge effect, since every time it destroys one of Taketsumi's followers and isn't destroyed itself, his max HP goes down by 3 (you will win when it hits 0).

At first by "OG crew" I thought you meant Arisa and the other Aleister heroes and I was like "oh please god no let's not repeat the biggest mistake of season 1" lmao (even if it wasn't really them but imposter spirits or whatever, still :P)

Light and Subaru met Alice and Mimori in Flame episodes 16 and 17. Ren also briefly ran into Mauro but I don't remember which episode that was. Same with Kai and Kazuki, they showed up in an episode for a bit I just can't remember which one.

Luca and Hiro, meanwhile, are members of the Seven Shadows, who I'm guessing Seventh Flame will duel or team up with after Light defeats Haruma in the tournament.

No, it can't. Relic Goddess can't gain any effects because it isn't affected by anything! You should come join our Shadowverse Wiki Discord server, we have a lot of veteran players there who can help you and answer more of your questions if you have them :) We love helping out new players!

Hi folks! We've officially opened the Shadowverse Wiki Discord server to the public! This is the best way for those contributing to the wiki to stay in communication with each other, so if you've been editing/adding pages already or plan to, I highly encourage you to join us!

Let's get this wiki into even better shape before the Shadowverse F(lame) anime starts airing on April 2nd, which will definitely introduce a lot more people to the Shadowverse franchise! Thanks so much and see you on the server!

I've addressed it and also put edit locks on both Hiro and the anime's pages so only admins (of which I'm the only one) can edit it.

Funny those pages are getting vandalized when none of us working on fixing up the wiki actually like the anime either lmao. But it is still part of the franchise so there needs to be unbiased and factual information about it here regardless.

This wiki needs a MASSIVE overhaul

There's more information here about the anime than the actual game, its story, characters, card expansions, etc. It'd also be nice to have pages related to Champion's Battle, the spinoff RPG game for the Switch, and set up some future proofing for Shadowverse EVOLVE (the physical card game based on the franchise) when it releases in 2022.

I think there needs to be a big overhaul of this wiki to pivot its primary focus towards the actual main CCG, though while keeping the anime related articles too of course (especially considering the anime's second series, Shadowverse Flame, is currently in production). While I could theoretically do this mostly by myself given enough time, the main problem is just my lack of experience when it comes to wiki coding/formatting.

So I'd like to request some help from this wiki's admin or another frequent contributor in making this more of a proper SV wiki for the CCG and the whole franchise. It may be a bit of a big undertaking but like I said, with enough time, I can mostly write the lion's share of information myself. But I also want to make sure everything looks nice and is formatted correctly. Thanks and if you'd like any of my other contact information (Discord etc) just let me know!
