Bane is an evergreen keyword that allows the follower to destroy any enemy followers it battles. It is represented by a purple scythe at the bottom of the card.
All classes have access to Bane, but it is strongly present within Bloodcraft, Shadowcraft, and to a lesser extent Dragoncraft.

- Bane does not take the follower's Attack into account, meaning that a 0-Attack follower with Bane will still be able to destroy any enemy followers it comes in contact with. It will also bypass effects that would reduce damage to 0 such as the shield from Guiding Bellringer Angel.
- Bane activates after the damage is dealt, so both followers will still take damage from the battle.
