Choose is an evergreen keyword introduced in Dawnbreak, Nightedge that allows the player to choose between two or more token cards. This occurs when the card is played or under other conditions, such as an evolution. The chosen card can replace the original at the time it is played or evolved, or it can be added to the hand or summoned separately.
The cards to choose usually have opposite effects, such as one that deals damage and another that restores defense. This allows the player to have the best option depending on the situation.
