Asagi Ryūgasaki is a character in the Shadowverse anime. She is the wife of Eiji Ryūgasaki and the mother of Hiro Ryūgasaki.

Biography[]
Asagi was the mother Hiro Ryūgasaki and close friends of Leon Aurenche. Along with her husband Eiji Ryūgasaki, they worked under Leon researching the Tree of Woe, which eventually lead to Asagi being possessed by Nexus. During the evacuation, Eiji sacrificed himself to ensure that the Tree of Woe is contained and entrusted Leon to take care of the rest. Since that incident, Asagi and Eiji's son had been living with his paternal grandfather.
While trapped inside the Tree of Woe under Nexus's power, Asagi's heart manifest itself in the form of a little girl in order to wake up the seven heroes from the Tree of Woe's dream and guides them to save the world.
When the Tree of Woe tower disappears, Leon falls into the void and awakens to be greeted by Eiji and Asagi. The three then set off for an unknown destination.
Etymology[]
- Asagi's surname "Ryūgasaki" means "dragon" (竜 ryū) and "cape, peninsula" (崎 saki).
- ↑ Because it's unknown if Nexus/Keepers in the anime's universe function in the same manner as they do in the game's main story, it's currently inconclusive whether or not Asagi can be considered a former Vessel.
