Fleauesse is a major character in Fate's Trigger, Fate's Trigger: Conclusion, Entropy's Abyss, Entropy's Abyss: Reconclusion and The Final Loop.
Fleauesse is a leader of the Portalcraft class. Her leader skin could be obtained by purchasing season 5 of the premium Battle Pass, but can now also be purchased directly through the in-game shop.
Personality[]
Fleuresse initially appears shrouded in mystery, never giving direct answers when questioned and only acting in the role of observer and casual guide. During this, she always appears calm and smiling.
She's appeared to many different people, offering advice, providing visions of parallel timelines, and nudging them into action, even if it would not benefit her. She seems to be helpful to the protagonists, but she's also shown associating with villains like Zecilwenshe, Iceschillendrig, and Nexus and admits that she "left her heart behind long ago."
In the grand scheme, she has essentially been enforcing the trope on Rivayle and Vellsar as a whole, putting it through endless loops of suffering until the right events line up for the right people to prove themselves capable of taking down Nexus.
Story[]
History[]
In the past, Fleauesse becomes the Vessel to the Keeper of Stagnation. Upon attaining a godlike level of power, Fleauesse found herself in an empty world containing only a single stone, which later became known as the Lodestone. Using her great power as a former Vessel, she created an entirely new world now known as Rivayle. Instead of choosing to rule over her domain, she split and personified three aspects of herself into a trio of demigods, called the Titans. These were the original Titan of Force, the original Titan of Order, and Iceschillendrig, the Titan of Prosperity.
It is widely believed by the people of Rivayle, including the Titans themselves, that the world's creator god ceased to exist once it split into the Titans. In reality, Fleauesse is very much still alive, keeping an eye on and protecting her world from the background under the guise of a simple fortune-teller.
Fleauesse opposes Nexus of Serenity and trapped the world inside of a time loop in order to protect it from Nexus, hoping one day heroes would rise up who could pass her trial: one that would prove they were capable of eliminating the encroaching Keeper. This Trial involves preventing the events that led to Iceschillendrig becoming the Lord of Darkness and turning Rivayle into Vellsar. However, no matter how many times the cycle repeated, Rivayle always reached the same fate, with the bullet Fleauesse created from the Lodestone never reaching its intended target.
She also kept an eye on Vellsar, that also ended up trapped in a time loop. However, Fleauesse felt Vellsar's existence was unimportant and meaningless because it created past the point of the trial where things could have been changed.
Fate's Trigger[]
On the streets of Rivayle, Bunny is approached by Fleauesse who offers to read Bunny's fortune. Fleauesse foresees that after great strife, Bunny will face a turning point. Though Bunny doesn't believe the prediction, Fleauesse gives her a bullet and urges her to hold off on it before disappearing.
Selena reaches a safe distance from Illganeau and is found by Fleauesse, who heals Selena's wounds. Selena finds Fleauesse suspicious and the two discuss the appearance of the wretches and Illganeau. Fleauesse offers to see into Selena's future, but the latter declines, but agrees when she learns Fleauesse seems to have knowledge about her secrets. Fleauess foretells that under the right circumstances, Selena might just have a happy ending, but warns there are obstacles and her worst day may become even worse than she can imagine. Fleauesse takes her leave and disappears in a flash of light.
Illganeau picks up the bullet that Selena left behind and that's when Fleauesse appears to her saying that he might have some of the answers she's looking for. Illganeau asks Fleauesse if she knows who she is. Fleauesse tells her that the story is of a girl with a special heart who, after the tragedy, ended up wandering the world half alive and half dead, which makes her so different from the rest of the Wretches. Illganeau doesn't understand, but Fleauesse says that she will eventually. Fleauesse then reveals that Iceshillendrig is not her killer, since he would never kill her with a knife as she remembers, but would have destroyed her without a trace, but tells her that the one with whom she seeks revenge is hiding right under her shadow.
Fate's Trigger: Conclusion[]
Iceshillendrig discusses the starting rebellion with Fleauesse, complaining about the defiance of those he sees as below him. Fleauesse promises not to interfere, but Iceshillendrig doesn't trust her because even though he needs her power for his plans, she is the only source of that power and that puts him in a difficult position. Fleauesse restates she is a guardian of Rivayle, though she is only a spectator, before disappearing.
Arisa discovers the rebellion has begun and decides to stop it by defeating Iceshillendrig. However, Fleauesse appears and questions if simply stopping Iceshillendrig is enough, revealing she knows much about Arisa. Arias answers that she will fight to keep people safe and Fleauesse is impressed by her answer, though she believes that Arisa is doomed to fail the upcoming trial.
Fleauesse watches the events of Rivayle unfold, but even with Arisa's arrival, the situation is still failing to meet her expectations as the Titans prepare to take action.
Before Arisa can fire her arrow to kill Iceshillendrig, Fleauesse appears and tells Arisa to take her choice of who to kill.
Entropy's Abyss[]
When Sekka tries to start searching for her mother again, she is approached by Fleauesse, who teases Sekka's doubts and confusion and mentions there are outcomes where she doesn't get eaten. After Fleauesse disappears, Sekka recalls the nightmare and grows conflicted at what to do. However, she is found by the werewolves and the chase begins again, all while Fleauesse mocks the cycle Sekka goes through.
A Drache broods over recent events, Fleauesse appears in front of him. She hints she knows about Drache's problems and that he will soon find his happy ending, cryptically mention the upcoming end of a cycle. She shows Drache a vision of him killing Greitz, claiming it was another life, a different cycle. Confused, Drache lashes out at Fleauesse, but she repels him easily and claims that no matter the cycle, he cannot change the world.
Aluzard finds Fleauesse and senses he has had similar encounters with her before and asks her when the cycles will end, only for Fleauesse to refuse to give a straight answer. Giving up, Aluzard leaves and Fleauess notes he cannot ignore his fate.
Entropy's Abyss: Reconclusion[]
In the darkness of Vellsar, the Lord of Darkness's tower stands as a symbol of despair and doomed fate, but Drache and Sekka arrive ready to change that fate. Upon reaching the tower's base, the two recall their defeats at the hand of the Lord of Darkness as Aluzard catches up and enacts his plan. The three find Fleauesse, who believes they are going after the Lord of Darkness, but Aluzard reveals she is the one they are after. Fleausse points out that fighting her is pointless, for she sees everything in Vellsar and can predict the outcome. The group refuses to back down and Fleauesse decides to unleash her power, claiming they are weak compared to her. Fleauesse taunts do nothing to dissuade Aluzard and he attacks with all his strength.
Despite being stronger than ever, Aluzard is unable to wound Fleauesse. Drache and Sekka join the attack, but their efforts do no damage and Fleauesse mocks their efforts. She counterattacks, taunting that the three's efforts amount to nothing, but the three refuse to give up. Fleauesse prepares to finish the battle and erase the three's memories.
The three continue fighting against Fleauesse, fighting beyond the point of any previous cycle they have lived so far. Fleauesse declares she is above the three in every way imaginable and that defeating her is impossible. Aluzard retorts that he has witnessed the impossible happen and fights on.
Fleauesse overwhelms the three with her power and boasts she knows absolutely everything about them. She prepares to finish the three off and start the cycle once more, but the three stand back up and charge at full strength. Despite Fleauesses's power, the three begin landing hits on her and Aluzard, finally having an understanding of the extend of Fleauesse's power, launches an all out attack. Fleauesse declares she controls everything and knows everything as she intercepts Aluzard's attack. When the flash from the colliding attacks fades, overpowers Aluzard and shatters his sword. However, in place of Aluzard's broken sword, Kagero appears and strikes Fleauesse with his Art of Rejuvination, landing a critical blow on Fleauesse. Aluzard reveals Kagero is the one being Fleauesse has not observed during the cycles, meaning she had no knowledge of his techniques and powers. Kagero reveals he inhabited Aluzard's sword and waited for the moment to strike. Aluzard explains he kept the plan a secret from everyone else and Sekka and Drache trusted his plan even though they didn't know what it was. He declares the group has performed a miracle, the same kind that freed him from his despair. Fleauesse reveals the strike can't kill her, as there is only one method to do so, but admits her belief that Vellsar and those who lived in it were meaningless was proved wrong. Aluzard asks Fleauesse about the real secret of Vellsar and Fleauesse reveals that before the Lord of Darkness came to be, Vellsar was known by a different name: Rivayle.
Vellsar was the result of choices that shouldn't have been made, so Fleauesse felt its existence was unimportant. However, Fleauesse reveals she was wrong about Vellsar and believes it may hold the miracle needed to pass the trial. Aluzard realizes he was not reliving cycles only in Vellsar, but Rivayle too and Sekka also realizes that cycle, created by Fleauesse, repeats when Vellsar is destroyed. Fleauesse explains that those in Rivayle don't remember the cycles because of their shorter lifespans, while those in Vellsar are almost eternal, their extending lives allowed them to become sensitive to the flow of time and the cycles. She also explains that the group are the only ones aware of the cycles and they are the destined ones to change it.
Fleauesse reveals her power can take them to Rivayle once, and hints it may be possible for the link between Rivayle and Vellsar to be broken. The group rallies to face the trial and save the world and Fleauesse sends them, a group that has defied fate itself, to the past.
The Final Loop[]
When Baron prepares to shoot to permanently subdue Iceshillendrig, Bunny joins him and aims her gun at Iceshillendrig. Before she can fire, Fleauesse appears and freezes everything except Bunny to speak with her privately. Bunny witnesses a vision of the cycle where she and Arias killed Iceshillendrig and Fleauesse encourages her to shoot with the bullet Aluzard gave her.
When Fleauesse is shot, everything unfreezes and Fleauesse reveals she was the god who created Rivayle and split her power into three beings, the Titans. She also reveals the bullet Bunny shot at her was the Lodestone, the stone that existed before Rivayle, and the only thing in the world she did not create and that has the power to change its fate. Fleauesse absorbs Iceshillendrig's essence back into her and reveals that Rivayle is no longer hiden from reality. Suddenly, Nexus's shades appear and Fleausse reveals that Nexus has targeted Rivayle and that her power could not stop her. By shooting Fleauesee, Bunny and Baron have passed her trail and proven they are capable of fighting against Nexus. Fleauesse disappears, leaving behind the Lodestone, which Baron retrieves, and Bunny and Baron leave to confront the new threat.
Nexus senses Fleauesse's power has been broken and prepares to force her serenity upon Rivayle. The last fading traces of Fleauesse appears before Nexus and reveals she has broken the time loop. She admits that even though she had a fraction of the keeper's power as a former vessel, she was no match for the keepers, but reveals she has formed a backup plan in the form of the Rivayle and Vellsar groups, declaring they have unlimited potential to make miracles. Nexus dismisses Fleauesse's claims, but Fleauesse points out that even though Arisa's arrival in Rivayle initially ended with her becoming possessed by Iceshillendrig, her body proved incompatible and forced Iceshillendrig to sleep in his domain until a new vessel could arrive, allowing the group from Vellsar to rise and eventually be sent back to change the past to help Rivayle pass the trial. Fleauesse disappears after giving some taunting word to Nexus, but Nexus continues her mission, believing it is invitiable.
A fading Fleauesse tells Aluzard, Arisa, Bunny, and Baron that Nexus can be found at Rivayle's end and asks them to stop her for good. She tells Aluzard that the time loop has been broken as well as the connection between Vellsar and Rivayle and promises to use the last of her power to send the Vellsar group home when the battle is won. Fleauesse says her goodbye as she fades away, thanking him for creating a new future.
