Granblue Fantasy, often abbreviated to Granblue or GBF, is an RPG developed by Cygames for iOS, Android and web browsers released in 2014. The game does not have its own dedicated English server or client, instead, the Japanese version contains an English language option.
GBF is one of Cygames's most well known and popular franchises. An anime adaptation, Granblue Fantasy: The Animation was released in 2017, with a second season airing in 2019. Spinoffs include Granblue Fantasy Versus, a fighting game released for the PlayStation 4 and PC in 2020, and Granblue Fantasy: Relink, an action RPG for PlayStation 4, 5 and PC.
Since it is another franchise created by Cygames, several collaborations and tie-ins have occurred between GBF and Shadowverse. The Brigade of the Sky and Eternal Awakening card expansions are based on GBF. The Skybound Dragons expansion from Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond is based on GranBlue Fantasy Versus: Rising.
