During their fight, Valdain discovers the vine's weak point and defeat them. However, Valdain realizes their defeat is only temporary and reveals the only way to permanently destroy the vines lies within Arisa and Erika. The two go their separate ways and Arisa goes off to find Erika. Meowskers finds Valdain and the latter orders the former to spread the information about how to subdue the mechanical vines. Meanwhile, Belphomet begins learning the greater extent of his new body and, upon learning Valdain is investigating him, grows angry and vows to steal Viridia Magna's power.

The two learn to tap into their new power and Arisa gains the power of wind and Erika the power of fire. With their new power, the two completely destroy the tentacles across Naterram leaving only Belphomet. Enraged, Belphomet uses his new power to raise an army of robot soldiers that were made by Naterra's previous civilization and has his Furies stand ready.

â | Ladica swoops in to assist Eris. They fight the machines together.
|
â |
After destroying some soldiers, Eris tries to use the slates she obtained to find a way to stop the soldiers, since they were made around the same time. Eris sends Ladica to protect the others while she begins her search. As Rowen fights the soldiers, he discovers they are threatening to trample over the grave of Djeana's sister and attacks them in a fury for their disrespect. With his forces continuing to be held back, Belphomet decides to empower the Furies by connection them to the defense systems from the previous civilization.
â | Eris ascertains that the key to fighting the machine soldiers must lie in the advanced civilization of Naterra's past. Meanwhile, Rowen has taken it upon himself to protect Djaena's sister's grave.

Eris is confronted by Alecto, who revives fallen robotic soldiers to battle. Using her slate to determine Alecto's weak point, Eris counterattacks to draw it away from the Naterra soldiers. Consulting the slate, Eris learns it is linked to the defense system of Naterra's previous civilization and that it can shut down all of the robots if it is disabled. Due to Belphomet hijacking the system, the slate explains that Eris will need to retrieve an administrative key from a statue she previously encountered to gain access. When she finds the statue, she learns she cannot remove the administrative key without activating it and is found by Alecto. Bayleon is confronted by Tisiphone and manages to hold out against her, but Tisiphone retreats to recharge while sending robot soldiers to weaken Bayleon. Arisa and Erika become overwhelmed and exhausted from the unending waves of robotic soldiers. Despite everyone becoming overwhelmed, they hold out, and Yuwan arrives and saves Arisa and Erika.

â | Urias, Yuwan, Isabelle, and Luna team up with Mono, Tetra, and Aenea to launch a counterattack.
|

The statue is revealed to be Roly Poly reborn in a new body and with the statue activated, Eris is able to shut down the Furies and the robot soldiers. Tetra and her sisters say their goodbyes to the Furies and everyone begins hunting for Belphomet. However, Arisa discovers the aether is being drained from the forest and the mechanical vines begin starting up again. Valdain realizes that Belphomet's goal all along was to absorb Viridia Magna, and he succeeded.

When they find him, he reveals he has absorbed Viridia Magna and her power. Erika and Arisa realize they can save Viridia Magna if they can free her power from Belphomet and the group rallies to fight him.
â | The natives of Naterra and Aiolon open a path for Arisa, Yuwan, and the others. With the hope of two worlds resting on their shoulders, they face Belphomet.
|
â |
Despite the group's efforts, Belphomet creates an impregnable energy barrier to shield himself. Arisa recognizes the barrier as the same kind Viridia Magna used and the group tries to break it with their magic attacks, but to no avail as Belphomet raves about his power. Urias taunts Belphomet with the fact he was previously defeated and Belphomet claims he has rid himself of emotions to make himself invincible, but Urias counters that emotions have power not even he fathoms. Further angered, Belphomet revives the Furies.

Despite his power, the group refuses to back down, but then the Furies arrive. Just as the Furies are about to attack, they suddenly regain their sentience and turn on Belphomet, destroying his barrier at the cost of their lives. Tetra and her sisters are relieved to see the Furies still had a piece of their free will left. Belphomet breaks down at not being able to understand why he couldn't destroy the Furies emotions and the group seizes the moment to attack.
â | The Furies are awakened by a spark from within and gain self-awareness. They defy Belphomet, leading to the collapse of his barrier and giving Arisa and the others an opening to attack.
|
â |
The group pushes Belphomet to the brink of defeat, but Nerva appears and offers Belphomet to become her vessel in exchange for power. At first Belphomet seems to take Nerva's offer, but rejects her. He realizes that Nerva sent him to Naterra in order for him to be defeated again so he would take her offer of vesselship. He expresses his hatred for the unknown and Nerva, the embodiment of the unknown in his eyes, makes him sick. Belphomet takes his own life in one last act of defiance of everyone, but Nerva escapes. With Belphomet's end, his remaining forces deactivate and Naterra is saved.

Tetra reveals that she has no way to return to Aiolon, and even if she did return, its infrastructure is destroyed. She hopes that she can stay in Naterra with her sisters, with the leftovers of Belphomet's invasion providing all the necessary resources to maintain themselves. She also hopes to one day build a teleportation device to Aiolon to bring over refugees. She then asks Isabelle what she will do next, but Isabelle reluctantly reveals she will be traveling to another world again. Tetra gives Isabelle an accessory made from her non-essential parts that has a some of her magic inside as a goodbye gift. The two then begin their goodbyes.

Luna and Aenea play with Roly-Poly while Eris and Tetra watch. Tetra wonders how Roly-Poly was revived and Eris guess it has to do with Luna's immense necromatic ability, which she has little control over. She theorizes that when Roly-Poly was destroyed, Luna absorbed his soul and unwittingly put it into the statue, which was built similarly, bringing him back. Tetra is overjoyed at the idea, because it means that awakened robots like her are truly alive and have souls. Luna and Aenea ask Tetra and Eris to play with them before they have to leave.
