Biography (Anime)[]
Mimori is a 2nd-year student at Tensei Academy and is one of the friends of Hiro Ryugasaki and Kazuki Shindo.
Mimori unknowingly meets her idol, Alice Kurobane, when she asks her for a battle at the Shadowverse Stadium.
She accompanies Hiro on his quest to achieve Master Rank, along with Kazuki acquiring a National Tournament invitation from Leon in the process. Despite losing in the first round, she supports her friends in the rest of the competition.
Mimori participates with the others in the Shadow Grand Prix, meeting Alice again, teaming up against the Joubert Sisters and then having another battle in which they get to understand each other more deeply and become friends. Mimori would get the Gold Rank after beating a Shadow Knight and along with the other protagonists become the chosen ones to save the world from the Tree of Woe. To this end, Leon sends them to the ruins of the Mythical Cards.
In the ruin, Alice confronts a Shadow-possessed Seiya Kibakura, managing to win with the help of Takuma, acquiring the Mythical Card.
After fighting various Empty Shadows around the city, all seven are sucked into the Tree of Woe. Mimori is sent to a dream world where she is an idol like she always dreamed off. However, Asagi guides her out of her dream to the world of her Mythical Card, where she encounters Arisa's spirit in a deep forest where the two become friends and together they manage to defeat a shadow monster. However, the monster ends up possessing the Arisa spirit, forcing Mimori to face her in a Shadowverse battle. Upon winning and with the decision to find what she's special about, Mimori return to the real world along her friends.
She finally joins the others to fight the Empty Shadows and later supports Hiro in his final battle with Leon.
Three years later during Shadowverse Flame, Mimori, now a high school student, have a misunderstanding with Alice, leading her to a battle with Subaru Makabe after this one helps her. Upon seeing the similarity between their personal situations and lack of resolution, the two manages to get the courage to face their insecurities.
Later, while in the middle of a reconciliation outing with Alice, Mimori encounters the Arc Ruler's invasion of Nekome. Although Mimori is initially upset with Alice's attitude, the two finally decide to go and reclaim the Mythical Cards sealed at Shadowverse College. Along the way, they both fight the Shade monsters with the Nexa System, receiving help from the Joubert Sisters.
Following the loss of the Mythical Cards and the Tree of Woe revived by Wolfram Zerga, Mimori and Alice reunite with their old friends and put their faith in Light Tenryu.
Following the defeat of Wolfram Zerga and the disappearance of the Tree of Woe, Mimori rejects Alice's proposal to become her idol partner, preferring to study to one day become her manager and be by her side.
Personality (Anime)[]
Mimori's personality is happy and cute and is sometimes shown to have a crush on Hiro when he returned her phone back to her. Mimori occasionally blushes when Hiro is around. She has little self-confidence, having a complex of always being "ordinary" in everything she does, so she has great admiration for people like Alice who stand out for being "special".
Deck (Anime)[]
Mimori uses a Forestcraft deck. Most of her cards have low costs and lack offensive power, using combos to gain ground in battle and effects that depends of how many cards are played in a single turn; such as using her ace, Brilliant Fairy, to strengthen her Fairies and give them Storm to assault the opponent in one go. As a reflection of her personality, several of her cards have defensive effects that protect her followers.
