The Nexa System is a technology developed by Genesis Corporation to deal with the threat of the Tree of Woe and the Empty Shadows.
Three years later, it was employed to fight the Shade invasion led by the Arc Ruler.
Description[]
The Nexa System is integrated into the Gauntlets and works in conjunction with the V.E.S.U.S. system to turn Shadowverse cards into weapons against the Shades.
The system uses a special energy to create high-density molecules, which give physical form to the Followers. In the first anime, this energy is obtained from the user's psyche, while in Shadowverse Flame, it is obtained from the points that players gain in their battles. However, unlike DigiFriends, materialized Followers cannot be maintained for long.
The system was originally given to the chosen seven who won the Shadow Grand Prix so that they could fight the Empty Shadows and free those possessed by them in a battle of psychic energy. Given the high protection of this system to prevent it from being replicated, its use can only be given to a few individuals.
Marguerite Valois gives the only ones available to the Seven Shadows and Seventh Flame to fight against the DigiFriends turned into Shade monsters by the Arc Ruler. The system allowed the Shades to be fought directly and returned to their original form by inflicting enough damage with materialized Followers, whose special molecules could interact with those of the Shade.
At Light's suggestion, Marguerite then manages to copy the Nexa System and send it to several other Shadowverse players in Nekome City to also fight the Shades.
