Seiya Kibakura is a supporting character in Shadowverse: Champion's Battle, the 2020 Shadowverse anime and Shadowverse Flame. He is a professional Shadowverse player and the older brother of Takuma Kibakura.

Biography (Anime)[]
Seiya is a famous pro Shadowverse player. He always wanted to have a good relationship with his brother, but Takuma's stubbornness made him walk away because his brother was always a better player.
He challenges Luca to battle believing that him have helped Takuma, giving him an invitation to the National Tournament as a reward for his victory.
He battles Hiro during the National Tournament, thanking him for changing his brother. He later participates in the Shadow Grand Prix, reaching Gold Rank, but is eliminated by a Shadow Knight.
Following the appearance of the Tree of Woe, Seiya is possessed by an Empty Shadow and confronts Mimori in the ruin of the Mythical Card. Possessed, Seiya lost his memories. Takuma then joins Mimori, winning the battle by combining their cards.
Three years later, during Shadowverse Flame, Seiya participates in the Shadowverse World Ranking. During the second day, he battles Shiro Kiriyama and Light Tenryu, defeating both of them. He shares with Light his ideals about advancing and improving, giving the young man a new vision. Seiya is finally defeated by Light during the final day, giving him his place in the top 7 and wishing him luck from then on.
When the Arc Ruler's invasion begins while he was out with Takuma, Seiya goes to see how he can help. They initially helps kids in the park, and upon recieving the Nexa System, they materialize their ace card to fight.
Following the defeat of Wolfram Zerga and the disappearance of the Tree of Woe, Seiya participate in the National Torunament, losing in the finals to Shiro Kiriyama.

Seiya is a gentle and kind young man. He adores doing magic tricks during his battles.
Deck (Anime)[]
Seiya uses a Runecraft deck centered around using Earth Rite. His ace cards are Pursuer Golem, which grows stronger by using Earth Rite to steal the effects of enemy followers, and Great Magician, which can steal an enemy follower when it evolves. In addition, many of his cards create Guardian Golems to protect him with Ward and act as a backup plan in case his ace cards are destroyed.
When he becomes possessed by the Empty Shadows, his deck gains new shadow cards and focuses on a control strategy where he fills his field with powerful followers. The ace of this new deck is Shadow Predator Golem, which controls the field with its many debilitating effects.
