The Seven Shadows are a group of Shadowverse pro players featured in Shadowverse Flame. They are recognized as the seven strongest players in the world, having the highest ranks and achievements and are said to be the closest ones to reach the Arc.
So far, only the identity of three members (Wolfram Zerga, Luca Yonazuki and Kaguya Makabe) are public knowledge, while the other four remain private.
History[]
The Seven Shadows were founded by Luca Yonazuki, who wanted to give Hiro Ryugasaki the best stage to show his strength and enjoy Shadowverse to the fullest. The two also wanted to find a new generation of players who could protect the world if they couldn't. Although he initially intended to reunite his former comrades, they chose to reject the position, so it was given to the five top players in the world.
The group is sponsored by Genesis Corporation, who then ask them to collaborate in the investigation of the Arc, although they carry out their activities independently.
Despite being a collective, most members do not consider themselves companions, having only their skill in Shadowverse and their mutual goal in common, some even being members only for their personal interests.
As part of the search for the Arc, the Seven Shadows launch the Shadowverse World Ranking to select the seven (eight) players they would test in the Shadow Area.
After the battle in the Shadow Area finally reveals the Arc, the Arc Ruler takes it and decides to begin his plan to end humanity. Faced with the invasion of Shade monsters, the Seven Shadows are responsible for defending Nekome City with the Nexa System. However, in the midst of this, several members are revealed to be traitors.
Andrea Rondo and Hina Sinclair both align themselves with the destruction of the world because of their pasts and hinder Ren Kazamatsuri and Tsubasa Takanashi in their mission to destroy the Sky Tower.
Warden Kraft reveals that his true goal all along was to steal the Mythical Cards because of his thirst for knowledge, taking advantage of the chaos to get it, being intercepted by Shion Otosaka.
Wolfram Zerga is revealed to be the vessel of Nexus who worked alongside her all along to revive the Tree of Woe.
After Seventh Flame saved the world from the Tree of Woe, everyone's memories were altered by the Arc Ruler to believe that the Seven Shadows were the ones who saved them, and so the kids could continue with their normal lives.
