Story[]

History[]

Tetra was the fourth sentient android created by Belphomet and was subjected to his cruel experiments.

Tetra was rescued by Mono, and the two rescued Aenea, becoming sisters and family. They eventually formed the resistance along many robots that "awakened" and gained free will. However, after experience the first death of an awakened robot and experience the agony of grief, Tetra lied to the other awakened robots that she could revive those that were fallen to spare them same pain. However, the lies were becoming too much to bear, so Tetra sought help from another world in an attempt to ease her guilt.

Tetra broke into Belphomet's central tower and stole a device that allowed her to travel to other worlds. Using the device, Tetra sought out the signal of Nicola Adel to Isunia.

The Guild War: Conclusion[]

On Isunia, the grand war started by Maisha Laforge had just concluded. As the main cast of heroes were about to depart to another world, a wounded Tetra emerged from a dimensional rift, similar to that generated by Yuwan's teleportation, to ask for their help in saving her world.

Splitting Up[]

As she introduced herself, Tetra explained to the heroes that her home world is on the brink of annihilation by the hands of the tyrant Belphomet. She mentions she used her dimension-linking functionality to search for those who could assist her. Yuwan noted he could sense the Keeper Nerva's power from the portal Tetra created, thus obligating the group to travel to Tetra's home world. However, due to Nerva's unnoticed manipulation, only Isabelle, Luna, Urias, and Yuwan reach the world of Aiolon with Tetra.

Gears of Rebellion[]

During Isabelle's confrontation with Belphomet and his Enforcers, Tetra arrived and used her Delta Cannon to repel the Enforcers. While Tetra explained she summoned otherworldly help to face him, Belphomet pointed out her trembling in his presence. As Belphomet withdrew from the area, covering his retreat with extra Enforcers, Tetra halted Isabelle from pursuing him as she believed it was a fool's errand to do so. She then suggested they find cover so she can explain the situation at large.

When Isabelle inquired as to why they hid and why Belphomet did not pursue them, Tetra referred to Belphomet (according to her sister Mono's data on his behavior) as a "child"; she noted that the tyrant assigns presumably random schedules for food and sleep. She also revealed that Belphomet was a plain researcher, until he killed the world's former leaders and seized control of the place for himself and terrorized the populace ever since. Speculation lead Tetra to believe a being of tremendous power allowed to tyranny to come about, most likely a Keeper according to Isabelle. Tetra stated the only reason Belphomet hasn't noticed the cumulative resistance was their careful refuge in their hideouts. With their goals aligned, Isabelle opted to join Tetra in her efforts and move to another hideout. However, previous injuries Tetra sustained impaired her ability to move, her healing functions requiring time to activate. When a couple of security surveyor drones arrived on their position, Tetra suggested Isabelle to abandon her and run. Isabelle instead decided to confront the surveyors to protect the vulnerable android.

After defeating the surveyors, Tetra explained to Isabelle her healing functions still required ten more minutes before they can activate. When Isabelle suggested the faster approach of examining Tetra's inner mechanisms herself, Tetra instructed her to open her frame by using the password "T012TE349" on the back of her neck. Isabelle succeeded in fully restoring Tetra through a temporary repair to her mana circulation. Although she couldn't keep up with the amount of information concerning the fix, Tetra noticed her "functional efficiency increased by 10%." After they hear an approaching surveyor, the duo retreated to the nearest hideout, but not before introducing each other proper.

When the two reach the hideout, they find a colony of sentient robots, though they are wary of humans due to Belphomet's actions. When Isabelle is formerly introduced to the robots, one of them called Jaythri asks Tetra to find a missing robots, her brother Jaytu.

Tetra arrives and asks Jaytu to abandon the rescue mission because they can restore Ayeoh through her backup data even if her body is destroyed. Despite his objections, Jaytu reluctantly returns to the hideout and Yuwan learns that Tetra found Isabelle, who helps fix her injuries. Tetra then reveals that only four of Yuwan's allies made it to Aiolon because of some outside force interfering, which Yuwan attributes to Nerva. Yuwan decides to continue searching for Ayeoh, but before Tetra can argue against his decision, she senses Mono is using her real power and leaves to check on her.

As Urias waits for Mono to awaken and contemplates her power, Tetra finds them and discovers the damage Urias inflicted on her sister. She angrily criticizes Urias for his actions, but Urias explains he did not ally himself with the resistance and serves his own needs. Urias then begins to attack Tetra to test her powers and potential. Before the battle can continue for long, Mono awakens and interrupts the fight. Mono sends Tetra to handle other obligations, assuring her she can deal with Urias.

When Tetra returns, she discovers Isabelle has gained the trust of the other robots. She reveals to Isabelle she encountered Urias and Yuwan. The conversation is interrupted by an attacking security drone that Isabelle battles while Tetra gets the other robots to safety.

After the drones are destroyed, Tetra take Isabelle to a new location to hide. However, they are found by some enforcer robots that Tetra immediately destroys. Isabelle questions Tetra about the resemblance between the behaviors of the resistance robots and the Enforcers. Tetra explains that the resistance robots are awakened, a phenomenon that occurs randomly where robots gain sentience and emotion. Unlike Tetra and her sisters, who were created sentient, the others were awakened by chance. However, Belphomet decided that sentient creations were not necessary and began hunting down the awakened robots.

The two reach a new hideout and discover several of the awakened robots didn't escape the ambush. Isabelle notices the other awakened robots are indifferent about the loses and about the danger they were in. Tetra explains that the robots indifferent is because as long as a robot's backup data is intact, they can be restored into a new body. Isabelle asks Tetra how long it will take to restore the fallen robots, but Tetra doesn't give a definite answer. The conversation is interrupted by a pair of attacking enforcers and the two fight them off. After the enforcers are destroyed, Isabelle wonders if destroying the robots is a necessary action if they could also awaken one day. Tetra is unsure about Isabelle's theory considering that Belphomet created the enforcers, and the awakening phenomenon is random. She suddenly picks up the signal of a robot named Roly-Poly Mk1, a companion to her sister Aenea, and discovers she is with the last member of the group to arrive in Aiolon. Before Tetra can leave, more enforcers arrive and Isabelle battles them to give Tetra time to leave.

After Isabelle finished off the last enforcer, Tetra return with Luna and Roly-Poly. After Isabelle learns Luna is unharmed, the latter asks Tetra about her sister Aenea, whom she had been spending time with. Before Tetra can explain how the robots can be revived with their backup data, she senses something is wrong with Jaytu and decides to check on him. Isabelle questions why she would go if she could just bring him back with his back up data, and begins to detect holes in her explanations and behavior. After Tetra leaves, Isabelle suspects she is hiding something.

Tetra arrives and takes Yuwan and Jaytu to safety. Yuwan apologizes to Tetra for not listening to her warnings, but Tetra apologizes as well and admits she already knew what happened to Ayeoh and kept it a secret to avoid risking Jaytu taking risky action that could endanger the resistance. Yuwan asks Tetra if Ayeoh could be revived using their backup data and Tetra confirms this. Tetra decides to bring Yuwan and Jaytu back to the hideout and Yuwan contemplates if Tetra really can bring back Ayeoh. On the way back to the hideout, Tetra asks Yuwan if he encountered Belphomet in person and Yuwan confirms it. The two discuss Belphomet's erratic and unpredictable personality and Yuwan asks why he rebuilt Ayeoh and doesn't simply wipe out the resistance even though he despises them. Tetra reveals all the robots were built by Belphomet and if he wanted to, he could find and destroy the resistance, but his unpredictable behavior baffles her. Tetra leaves to check on another hideout.

Isabelle finds Tetra standing before a giant pile of scrap metal and demands to know if she was lying. Tetra admits she was lying and explains the pile of metal is the remains of the fallen robots. As the conversation continues, it begins to rain. Tetra admits her fear of Belphomet have prevent her from taking necessary action and have resulted in the deaths of many awakened robots, as well as cause her to lie and betray their trust, Isabelle comforts Tetra and assures her that mistakes are a part of being alive and having emotions. They are interrupted by some attacking Enforcers.

Isabelle encourages Tetra to move forward, explaining how Eleanor helped her overcome her loss of Kyle. Moved by Isabelle's words Tetra thanks her for her help and Isabelle promises to stand by her.

With everyone gathered, Tetra declares she will come clean about her sins and that she will begin to make amends for them. Tetra reveals that she lied when she told the other awakened robots that so long as she has access to their backup data, they did not need to fear dying. The awakened robots are horrified by the revelation and Tetra apologizes for letting her fears of failure keep her from launching the rebellion. She then recalls the words of someone who told her to turn her fear into hatred, and that hatred into power and declares she will fight Belphomet will all of her strength and asks the other awakened robots to fight alongside her and save Aiolon. Jaythri declares she will fight with Tetra and use her grief to give her strength. The other awaken robots agree to fight as well and Yuwan, Urias, Luna, and Isabell agree to fight with them. Tetra vows that Belphomet will be defeated and declares the start of the rebellion.

Gears of Rebellion: Uprising[]

Tetra goes over her plan for the rebellion: in order to be able to confront Belphomet, they must destroy the factories that can produce an endless amount of enforcers if left unchecked. The Resistance shall be split into three teams to attack all three factories at once. Isabelle and Tetra form the final team.

Isabell and Tetra's team make their way to the foundry, but Tetra picks up a powerful signal approaching them that she recognizes. Tetra and Isabelle struggle against Megaera's Wave Cannon Iraliae and Tetra explains that Megaera was made from the remains of the fifth and sixth androids from her line, Penta and Hexa. When Megaera prepares to fire its Wave Cannon again, Isabelle uses the gravity spell Eleanor taught her to throw off its aim. Tetra comes up with a plan to attack Maegara's weak point and works with Isabelle to disable Megaera's Wave Cannon.

After the Wave Cannon is damaged, Megaera tries to fire a full power blasts. Tetra puts her plan into action and Isabelle uses her gravity magic to give her an opening to destroy the Wave Cannon. With the Wave Cannon destroyed, the power built up has no way to released and destroys Megarea. Though saddened by having to destroy her sister, Tetra vows to use those feelings for strength. With the factory destroyed, Tetra and Isabelle travel to the central tower for the real battle.

Tetra and Isabelle infiltrate the central tower and Tetra discovers the Resistance's victory over the Furies. They soon meet up with Luna, Aenea, and Yuwan, and everyone moves together to confront Belphoment. However, the sheer number of enforcers guarding the tower hinders the group until Mono and Urias arrive and clear them out. More enforcers arrive and Mono, Tetra, and Aenea decide to hold them off while the others confront Belphomet.

Invasion of the Worldreaver[]

In Naterra, Isabelle arrives with Tetra to aid Rowen.

Belphomet raves about how he plans to transform Naterra into his own image and how his intelligence makes him superior to others. Despite his power, the group refuses to back down, but then the Furies arrive. Just as the Furies are about to attack, they suddenly regain their sentience and turn on Belphomet, destroying his barrier at the cost of their lives. Tetra and her sisters are relieved to see the Furies still had a piece of their free will left.

Isabelle finds Tetra brooding about the fate of the Furies and Tetra expresses her gratitude they were able to pass as their true selves. Isabelle asks Tetra if she will try to bring them back, but Tetra reveals that she will honor their memory for the time being. Tetra reveals that she has no way to return to Aiolon, and even if she did return, its infrastructure is destroyed. She hopes that she can stay in Naterra with her sisters, with the leftovers of Belphomet's invasion providing all the necessary resources to maintain themselves. She also hopes to one day build a teleportation device to Aiolon to bring over refugees. She then asks Isabelle what she will do next, but Isabelle reluctantly reveals she will be traveling to another world again. Tetra gives Isabelle an accessory made from her non-essential parts that has a some of her magic inside as a goodbye gift. The two then begin their goodbyes.
