1. Welcome to Paradise[]
The Empyrean Inn is a paradise hotel where its guests enjoy the finest luxuries. Not an hour passes without an event of any kind takes place and banquets and entertainments are available for every guest. Only happy memories are ever made in Ametsuchi, the Empyrean Inn.
2. The Haunted Inn[]
Anisage remembers the joyful days she spent with her father but finds herself in the Empyrean Inn with no idea how she got there. While searching for a way to return home, Anisage cloaking abilities that allow her to travel undetected start rumors of a ghost in the inn. Suddenly, she senses her father and travels into a hall filled with webs. She is found by Saito, one of the inn's concierge, despite her cloaking, who begins questioning her. Anisage explains she doesn't want to cause trouble and only wants to return to her father, but the conversation is interrupted by a Sootspawn monster. Saito destroys the Sootspawn and claims the memory shard before attacking Anisage, seeing her as a threat to Ametuschi. He attacks Anisage, declaring there is no way for her to ever return home.
3. Nightmarish Reality[]
After a dream where she spends time with her father, Anisage awakens and discovers a female guest taking care of her along with two others. The woman explains she found Anisage badly injured and took care of her. The woman also explains people like them who want their memories back and to return home are called Forsaken. Anisage realizes she can't return home on her own and decides to take the help of the other Forsaken. The Forsaken woman agrees to tell her all she knows of Ametuschi and how to escape it.
4. The Forsaken[]
The Forsaken woman explains that Ametuschi is a world where others are pulled into. She explains that there are three types of people in Ametuschi, the guests who enjoy the inn's luxuries, the concierge who take care of disturbances, and the Forsaken who wish to leave. The only known way to return to their own worlds is to reclaim their stolen memories, which were taken when they first arrived in Ametuschi. Suddenly, the group hears of a Sootspawn attack, but it does not carry any of their memories, and explain that the Sootspawn are considered pests that are disposed of. The Forsaken Woman takes Anisage to see Taketsumi destroy a Sootspawn and its memory shard and she explains that the Sootspawn are created from the stolen memories, which are needed to leave Ametuschi. Though concerned about the way Ametuschi treats memories, Anisage focuses on returning to her father.
5. A Reason to Go Home[]
Anisage and the Forsaken woman grab lunch and are served by a hooded woman who introduces herself as Maisha Laforge, a newcomer to the inn. Anisage asks Maisha if she ever misses her old home before the latter leaves, but the Forsaken woman warns her against asking such questions in public. The woman apologizes to Anisage for being harsh and reveals she has a newborn child back in her world and that she can't remember her own name since it was one of the taken memories. Suddenly, the two are found by Saito who prepares to arrest Anisage.
6. Calamity Approaches[]
Saito admits he is surprised Anisage survived their previous encounter and attacks, but the Forsaken woman stalls him and orders Anisage to flee. Anisage flees using her cloaking, but Saito pursues her and she crashes into a werewolf named Itsurugi. Anisage tries to flee to avoid dragging Itsurugi into her mess, but Itsurugi offers to have Taketsumi help with whatever her problem is. Anisage denies Itsurugi's offer when she remembers Taketsumi destroyed a memory shard, but Itsurugi insists on helping and shows Anisage an alley to escape through and misdirects Saito away from her. When Saito leaves, Itsurugi wonders why Saito was so angry, but Anisage insists that is what he is really like and reveals he is hunting her before leaving. With the knowledge of how to return home, Anisage vows to find her father.
7. Birth of a Warrior[]
Anisage returns to the room the other Forsaken are using, and they reveal there are rumors the Forsaken woman Anisage was with was captured, but they can't confirm anything yet. Anisage reveals her cloaking ability that allowed her to escape Saito and the other Forsaken reveal the Sootspawn take residence in Weaver's Hall, a closed section of the inn guarded by the concierge. They reveal Saito placed a ward around the area that alerts him to any trespassers but determine Anisage can sneak in without being caught. The other Forsaken reveal their plan: they will cause a ruckus to distract the concierge while Anisage sneaks into Weaver's Hall and finds her memories. Anisage is reluctant to go through with the plan but agrees when the other Forsaken reveal they have dreams and loved ones back in their worlds. Anisage infiltrates Weaver's Hall but is found by a member of the concierge named Mizuchi while searching for her memories. Mizuchi is able to detect Anisage through her cloaking and prepares to attack her.
8. Fighting the Currents[]
Since Mizuchi can see through her cloaking, Anisage reveals herself and Mizuchi asks her if she destroyed one of her memories. Anisage denies her accusations and questions why trying to go home is a crime, but Mizuchi declares that the flow of Ametuschi cannot be resisted and attacks.
Mizuchi overwhelms Anisage and urges her to give up her pursuit of memories for the many who enjoy staying in Ametuschi. Anisage declares her and the other Forsaken's opinions do matter and disappears. Mizuchi tracks her down again, but her attacks go straight through her. Anisage declares the Forsaken aren't criminals, they are people who wish to return home, and vows to do so before escaping Mizuchi. Mizuchi reluctantly gives up her hunt and leaves to report to Saito.
9. One Step Closer to Home[]
Anisage is exhausted after pushing her cloaking ability so hard but is relieved to discover the new extent of her abilities. She senses one of her memories and finds the Sootspawn containing them. Despite her doubts, Anisage battles the Sootspawn to retrieve her memories and Itsurugi arrives and offers his help in fighting the Sootspawn.
Together, the two manage to destroy the Sootspawn. Anisage thanks Itsurugi for his help and introduces herself before collecting her memory shard. Despite collecting the shard, Anisage is unable to recall anything. She then asks Itsurugi if it was okay for him to help a forsaken like her and Itsurugi answers it was the right thing to do. After explaining to Itsurugi why the Forsaken want to return home, Anisage leaves alone to return to her room and figure out the next step. Just after Itsurugi leaves, the memory shard begins reacting and Anisage hears her father's voice.
10. Far from Home[]
Anisage remembers that one night, soldiers broke into her home and accused her father of being a necromancer. Anisage hid in the cellar but heard her father scream in pain and ran back upstairs. She chased away the soldiers, but her home was destroyed, and her father was mortally wounded. On his deathbed, Anisage's father revealed to Anisage that he is not her daughter. The memory ends and a confused Anisage frantically tries to figure out what happened after the memory ended. She leaves to find the other forsaken, but when she finds the pair that left to distract Saito, she discovers they have no memories of being forsaken or wishing to return home. Saito appears and attempts to arrest Anisage.
11. Just a Job[]
Anisage resists Saito in anger at having her friend's memories stolen and Saito realizes that Anisage has recovered her memories in addition to growing more powerful. He then reveals that the Great Spider, the deity of Ametsuchi, is responsible for stealing the memories of the other Forsaken and he simply serves it. He then claims that the loss of memories frees people to live their lives happily in present without being shackled by their past, admitting he despised his old memories and pointing out Ansiage's own bad memories that were recovered. He then reveals that he still has the first memory shard belonging to Anisage he took when she first arrived in Ametsuchi, unable to destroy it. Anisage fights to reclaim the memory shard.
Despite her new strength, Anisage is unable to defeat Saito, but continues resisting him and manages to steal back her memory shard and escape. Anisage retreats to the Forsaken's secret room and witnesses her memories from the shard she stole from Saito.
12. The Perfect Monster[]
Anisage's memory continues on from the memory of when her father was mortally wounded, and he told her she wasn't his real daughter. Her father told her that his first daughter had died from illness and in grief, he tried to resurrect her. His attempts at necromancy were forbidden, so he was exiled from his country. However, the end result of his efforts didn't bring back his daughter from the dead, but instead created a new being entirely; Anisage. Despite the failure of his efforts, he eventually decide to raise Anisage as his second daughter. As the soldiers who previously attacked return, Ansiage's father apologizes for letting himself get hurt and tells Anisage that she has powers that prevent anything from holding her back. Anisage's father says his goodbyes to Anisage, telling her he loves her and asks her to live a happy life before dying. The soldiers try to capture Anisage, but Anisage unleashes her powers in a grief fueled rage an escaped. Anisage discovered that her powers allowed her to go anywhere, and she could live forever as long as her body remained intact, but she was lost without her father. One day, she laid down to rest and awoke in Ametsuchi. With her memories restore, Anisage realizes what she needs to do.
13. Marching Onwards[]
The Forsaken Woman, who escaped from Saito, reaches the Forsaken's room and finds Anisage after she recovers all her memories. Despite the sadness of her memories, Anisage still wishes to return home and build her father a grave. The Forsaken Woman reveals a monster is rampaging in the inn, and it is the Great Spider. Anisage decides to destroy the Great Spider, despite the Forsaken Woman's protests, in order to protect the precious memories stolen by it. Seeing Anisage's determination, the Forsaken Woman gives her support and Anisage begins searching for the Great Spider. She tracks the Great Spider to Weaver's Hall where Mizuchi approaches her. Mizuchi explains that she did not come to hurt Anisage and apologizes for her previous actions towards her. She reveals that she has always followed the rules, but she has seen where that path will lead her and wishes to change it. She also reveals that a Dragonling names Si Long is planning to destroy everyone's memories and has to be stopped. The two join forces to protect the memories.

At the start of each of the Opponent's turn, the spell, Force of the Flow is added to the Opponent's hand if they do not have one currently in their hand. Force of the Flow costs 1 play point and has the following effects: If you've played any followers this turn, deal 1 damage to all enemy followers. If you've played any spells this turn, draw a card. If you've played any spells this turn, restore 2 defense to your leader.

At the start of each of the Player's turn, the spell Sheer Determination is added to their hand if they do not have one currently in their hand. Sheer Determination costs 1 Play Point and has the following effect: Banish a follower that costs X Play Points or less from your hand. X equals the number of shadows you have. Put a random Follower from your deck into your hand. At the end of this turn, summon a copy of the banished follower.
