Vivian Joubert, also known as Vivienne Justine, is a supporting character in Shadowverse: Champion's Battle, the 2020 Shadowverse anime and Shadowverse Flame.
Biography[]
She is Vanessa Joubert's younger sister. The two are infamous for participating in Shadowverse tournaments in order to win big prizes and resort to any dirty mean of getting money.
Them participate in the Shadow Grand Prix being delighted with the posibility of winning Genesis Corporation with the intention of selling it. They faces Alice and Mimori in a tag battle, having the advantage at first for their major experience in tag battles, but the two lose in the end.
Vivian later appears possessed by a Empty Shadow and faces Alice in the ruin of the Mythical Card.
Three years later during Shadowverse Flame, the sisters keep their mercenary affairs and are hired by Marguerite Valois to hunt down Light Tenryu during the Shadowverse World Ranking as a way to test him. When Light wins despite having everything against him, the sisters recognize his worth and give him the Dual Rage card that Marguerite asked them to give him. They also reveal to Light that Genesis Corporation have been hiding the truth and that the Arc Ruler knows more.
During the final day of the World Ranking, Vivian battles Ren Kazamatsuri who was in the top 7 and despite having the upper hand, Vivian loses in the end.
The sisters then fight in the streets against the Shade monsters that invade Nekome, commenting on how it awakens their lost memories from years ago. Upon recieving the Nexa System, Vivian helps Alice Kurobane to fight the Shades.
Vanessa and Vivian are hired by Leon Aurenche to test the Protagonist. Vivian runs into him by chance and ends up forcing him to take her to his dorm for food, where she ends up sleeping. Vivian then participates in the Silver Cup, defeating Shiro Kiriyama, but loses to the Protagonist. After losing, the sisters retreat, hoping to fulfill their mission later.
The two then appear in the Underverse Arena and the search for the Shadow Bahamut card. After another defeat, the two are interested in taking the Protagonist with them until Kagura appears to defend him.
Vivian later participates in the National Tournament, losing to Rei Saotome in the first round.
Personality[]
Vivian is a bossy, carefree woman always looking for entertainment. She and her older sister Vanessa are very close.
Deck[]
Vivian uses a Shadowcraft deck. Her strategy is to destroy her own followers to rapidly gain shadows in order to use her ace card, Path to Purgatory, activating Last Words effects meanwhile.
